Cardionetworks upgraded to new server

Due to the high volume of traffic and the increasing amount of data. Cardionetworks has upgraded to a new server. This one is dedicated and can contain 250gb of data, so this will suffice for a while. Unfortunately the crash of the old server and transfer to the new server has resulted in some down-time of the websites, for which we appologize.

In Practical Neurology, Marsh, O’Callaghan and Smith used material from ECGpedia for their paper on the Humble Electrocardiogram

CardioNetworks is inviting physicians to join the network and improve ECGpedia, ECHOpedia and PCIpedia. Submit your ECG’s, echocardiographies, angiographies and other imaging material. Or write or review articles on the websites. Share your knowledge with the cardiovascular community and profit from the knowledge of others.

You will receive all acknowledgments for the material you submit. Text authors are credited in the ‘author’ frame on each page. Submitted material is marked ‘Courtesy of …’.

Dutch ECGpedia has received it’s 250.000th visit

In November 2007, the Dutch ECGpedia website received it’s 100.000th visit. More and more people seem to value it’s content as visit rates are going up and also the average time on the site has increased to 6:30 minutes. Currently the total number of unique visits is 121.000 resulting in 582.250 pageviews and 4.500 edits.

In April 2008, the 250.000th visitor is expected!

English ECGpedia visited from 126 countries

The English version of ECGpedia.org has now received visits from 104 countries all over the world. More and more visits are coming from countries where access to good medical resources is limited.

ECGpedia wins first prize during E-Learning Symposium
